Alpine Source Code (2008-09-06). License Apache
2.0. Alpine, the new version of the Pine e-mail
and news reader from the University of
Washington. This package contains all of the
files that I needed to modify to get Alpine
compiling and running on OS/2. I have tried to
follow the Unix port as closely as possible, and
the Windows port for handling file names. Alpine
can be compiled using gcc 3.2.x and GNU Make.
Other make utilities may work with minimal
changes but other compilers (including other
versions of gcc) are unlikely work. Detailed
instructions are given in the BUILDING.OS2 file
listed below.

autoconf v2.65 for OS/2. Autoconf is an
extensible package of M4 macros that produce
shellscripts to automatically configure software
source code packages. These scripts can adapt
the packages to many kinds of UNIX-like systems
without manual user intervention. Autoconf
creates a configuration script for a package
from a template file that lists the operating
system features that the package can use, in the
form of M4 macro calls. Additional requirements:

can view or print an entire document or even
isolated pages, even if your computer doesn't
have Display PostScript and your printer doesn't

Larsen Commander Version 1.6 Milestone 3 for
OS/2 released as GPL Open Source. Larsen
Commander is a powerful, flexible and user
friendly GUI file manager and command processor
for OS/2 Warp. It has a so-called orthodox look
and feel that is inspired by the classic Norton
Commander. In addition to the two classic file
panels Larsen Commander has a built in command
line and a scrollable console monitor. This way
you can easily combine the best of two very
different worlds; - the command line and the
file management panels. Both are available at
the same time, and even in parallel while one or
more commands are running in the background!
